What is Social - Emotional Learning?

Social-emotional learning (SEL) is the process of helping children develop self-awareness, self-control and interpersonal skills that are fundamental for school, work and life success. SEL teaches the skills we all need to handle ourselves, our relationships and our work effectively and ethically. People with strong social-emotional skills are better able to cope with everyday challenges including problem-solving, self-discipline, emotional management and many more.
