Chief Jayme Burley has proudly served the Scurry-Rosser Independent School District (ISD) since 2022. In 2023, he was promoted from Police Sergeant to Chief of Police, where he leads the district’s law enforcement efforts with a strong commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of students, staff, and the broader community. Chief Burley is passionate about engaging with the community’s stakeholders and strives to deliver exceptional service to the people he and his department serve.
Beyond his law enforcement duties, Chief Burley serves as an Alderman and Mayor Pro Tem on the Rosser City Council. He views servant leadership as one of his most important roles in the community. Chief Burley is also a proud father of two children, both of whom attend Scurry-Rosser ISD.
With his deep roots in the local community, combined with his extensive law enforcement background and leadership experience, Chief Burley is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for the students, staff, and families of Scurry-Rosser ISD.
