Welcome to Wildcat Country! We are delighted that you are visiting the Scurry-Rosser ISD website.

There is something special about SR. The “fighting Wildcat spirit” was started decades ago when our school district was founded in 1929.  Whether you are part of our school family or a curious visitor, we hope to show you a glimpse of the exciting things that are happening in our schools through this website.

In Scurry-Rosser we are focused on “tried and true” educational practices while taking advantage of innovations that help us meet the diverse needs of our community. We have a multifaceted learning environment that includes academics, career-technology training, fine arts, service opportunities, team sports, and co-curricular activities.

The SR student body comes to us from great families who have a desire for their children to receive a quality education. As described in our school district motto, we believe that students should strive for and experience success. The backbone of our students’ achievements is our dedicated faculty and staff. They are passionate about their profession, knowledgeable about their field of study, and treat each child as an individual who possesses unique strengths and interests. Most of our teacher’s serve as club or service organization sponsors, coach teams, or direct a performing arts program.

I hope that this brief introduction and the other pages of this website will encourage you to learn more about our school. We are proud of the emphasis we place on strong academics and supportive interactions among motivated students, faculty, parents, and staff.

We invite you to explore our virtual world and discover how much SR has to offer.

    Best regards,
