Wildcat Parents,

I hope your child had a nice Winter Break and is ready for the second semester of the 2021-2022 school year.  According to CDC research, this Omicron variant is likely to spread more easily than the previous strands. Scurry-Rosser ISD is continuing to follow TEA COVID protocol guidelines to ensure the safety of all students.

Positive test results:

  • Students who tested positive should be isolated 10 days away from school.

  • Parents must ensure they do not send a child to school if the child has COVID-19 symptoms.  If symptomatic, students should remain at home until at least 10 days from when symptoms began or receive a negative PCR test.

Close Contact:

  • Students who may have been in close contact, with no symptoms, may return to school.  If symptoms occur, students will be required to take a PCR test or remain at home for 10 days.

Please notify your campus nurse or administrator if your child tested positive for COVID, has symptoms, or was in close contact with another individual who tested positive.

If you would like SRISD to conduct a PCR test for your child, please use this link to start the registration process.
