January is School Board Appreciation Month, a time to recognize and thank the dedicated individuals who serve on school boards across Texas. During this month, Scurry-Rosser ISD is proud to celebrate its Board of Trustees and the important role they play in supporting our students, staff, and schools.
This year’s Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) theme, “Our Future Is Public,” is a great reminder of why their work matters. The Scurry-Rosser ISD Board of Trustees helps guide the direction of the district by setting goals, adopting policies, and making decisions that keep students at the center of everything we do.
School board members serve as volunteers, giving their time and energy to attend meetings, complete training, and stay connected with the community. Their leadership helps ensure strong public schools today while planning for the future of our students and families.
Public education is a cornerstone of our community. Our Future Is Public, and Scurry-Rosser ISD is grateful for trustees who believe in our schools and work on behalf of our students and families
Throughout January, Scurry-Rosser ISD invites students, staff, parents, and community members to join us in thanking our Board of Trustees for their service and dedication. Their leadership truly makes a difference for our district and our future.
