We are excited to welcome Ashley Sheppard as our new Assistant Principal at Scurry-Rosser Elementary School. Ashley is a dedicated educator with over 15 years of experience in classroom teaching, instructional leadership, and administrative roles.
Ashley began her career in 2011 with Forney ISD, where she spent six years teaching 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades. Her classroom success led her to a leadership role as an Elementary Learning Specialist for Forney ISD in 2017, where she focused on curriculum development and teacher support for two years. In 2019, Ashley transitioned into school administration, joining Crandall ISD as an Assistant Principal. Currently, she serves as an Education Specialist with Working Solutions, where she applies her deep pedagogical knowledge to support educational initiatives on a broader scale.
Outside of her professional life, Ashley is a proud mother of two sons who share a passion for sports. Her oldest, Benjamin, is 20 and a sophomore at Eastfield Community College, where he plays baseball. Her younger son, Aaron, is 17 and a junior at Forney High School, where he also follows in the family’s athletic footsteps as a baseball player. Whether she is in a school building or at a ballpark, Ashley is driven by her dedication to her family and her lifelong commitment to the field of education.
We're excited for the leadership, experience, and heart for students that Ms. Sheppard brings to our Wildcat family. Please join us in giving her a warm Scurry-Rosser welcome!
