Calling all future Wildcat Cheer families! If your student is interested in Middle School or High School Cheer, we’ll be hosting a Cheer Tryout Parent Meeting on February 19 at 5:30 PM at SRHS.

If your student is thinking about trying out, at least one parent/guardian should plan to attend. We’re excited for another great year of Wildcat Cheer! #WildcatPride #SRISD #WildcatCheer

Dear Parents and Guardians,
This is a friendly reminder that students are only allowed to bring water bottles with secure lids to school.
To help us keep classrooms clean and safe, please ensure that your child’s water bottle:
Contains water only
Has a tight-fitting lid or cap
Is not a glass container
Open cups, sports drinks, juice, soda, or other beverages are not permitted. Bottles without lids can easily spill and disrupt learning time.
Students may have a sealed , spill proof drink secured in their lunch box/bag to drink at lunch.
We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a safe and focused learning environment for all students.
Thank you for your cooperation.

What a weekend for our Drill Team! They took 9 routines to competition — and they absolutely delivered. All three team dances and all three Officer routines earned Division 1 ratings! On top of that, both duets and our solo performance received top rankings as well.

We are so proud of the hard work, discipline, and countless hours these dancers put in to represent Scurry-Rosser with excellence. Their dedication, teamwork, and heart were on full display.

Congratulations to our incredible dancers and directors on an outstanding competition! #WildcatPride #SRISD #DrillTeam #ExcellenceInAction

We officially hit the 100th Day of School at Scurry-Rosser Elementary — and let’s just say… we’ve never looked so wise!

From creative 100-day shirts to students dressed like they were 100 years old, the hallways were full of gray hair, giggles, and LOTS of counting. Last week our Wildcats celebrated with fun activities, collections of 100 items, and plenty of smiles along the way.

It’s hard to believe we’re already 100 days smarter! We’re so proud of the growth, hard work, and heart our students have shown this year.
