Scurry-Rosser High School was proud to host our first Junior High Cheer Camp, bringing together cheerleaders from SRJH & multiple schools to learn new skills, build confidence, and grow as teammates.
From motions and jumps to teamwork and leadership, these young athletes spent days putting in the work and preparing for a successful season.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible and to all the schools that joined us! **Proud of all of our SRJH cheerleaders!**

These dedicated educators spent their time sharing ideas, aligning curriculum, and discussing ways to provide meaningful learning experiences for students across our region.
Thank you to these outstanding teachers for investing their time, expertise, and passion into the future of our students. The work may happen around tables today, but the impact will be seen in classrooms, shops, barns, competitions, and careers for years to come.

Today was a day full of memories, emotions, and special moments across Scurry-Rosser ISD. Our seniors took their final walk through the halls of each campus, greeted by teachers, staff, and students who cheered them on while reminiscing about the years gone by. From familiar classrooms to familiar faces, it was a chance to reflect on how far they’ve come and the memories made along the way.
The final stop was especially meaningful as our seniors walked through Scurry-Rosser Elementary alongside our newly graduated Kindergarten students. One group preparing to begin their journey, and another preparing to start a brand new chapter. Today was a time to remember old memories, celebrate accomplishments, and make new lasting memories that will stay with our Wildcats for years to come.

It is a bittersweet day at SRES. We are saying goodbye to two staff members who are retiring; Carla Vick (25 years of service), and Cheryl Knowlton (24 years of service). We will miss them so very much but we are excited for these two iincredible ladies! Cristen Bray and Crystal Ranes are moving away from our district and we wish them well in their new adventures! Whitney Ferguson, Christiane Shehan, Holly Kirby, and Angela Mead will remain part of the SRISD family but will be moving to other posititions within our district. We will truly miss all of these wonderful women and we wish all good things for them!

We’re going to miss this group, but we can’t wait to see all the great things they do next year at the middle school! #WildcatPride #SRISD
Keeping firearms locked, unloaded, and stored separately from ammunition can help prevent accidents and keep children safe. Taking a few extra moments to securely store firearms can make a big difference in protecting our students and community.
Thank you for helping us keep safety a priority this summer. #WildcatPride #SRISD
