She creates a positive and welcoming environment where students feel safe, valued, and excited to start and end their day. Her patience, kindness, and warm personality make a lasting impact, and she has a special way of building relationships with the students she serves.
Beyond her daily route, Beth is a true team player. She is always willing to step in, adjust her schedule, and go the extra mile to ensure routes are covered and field trips run smoothly. Her reliability and willingness to help wherever needed make her an invaluable part of our transportation team and our district as a whole.

Scurry-Rosser ISD families, it’s time to get your student-athletes ready for the upcoming school year! Physicals will be offered for just $20, making it quick, easy, and affordable to check this off your list.
This will be the only opportunity provided, so don’t miss out! Getting a physical now ensures your student is cleared and ready to participate in athletics, drill team, band, cheer, and other activities for the 2026–2027 school year.

Scurry-Rosser ISD is proud to announce that Whitney Ferguson has accepted the position of Math Instructional Coach for the district.
Whitney currently serves as a 3rd grade teacher at Scurry-Rosser Elementary, where she teaches math. A graduate of Texas Woman's University, Whitney brings 13 years of experience in education, along with a strong background working with a variety of math curricula.
Throughout her career, Whitney has demonstrated a consistent ability to create a safe, positive classroom environment where students feel supported and challenged. Her passion for teaching mathematics and her focus on developing students’ problem-solving skills have made a lasting impact in the classroom.
In her new role as Math Instructional Coach, Whitney will support teachers across the district in strengthening math instruction, enhancing student learning, and promoting best practices in the classroom.

During PE, SRES students had a wonderful time with our parachute. It is an activity that fosters teamwork and improves motor skills, all while providing high-energy fun for students.
We will be buzzing with activities, in the month of May, at SRES!
Due to the potential for inclement weather, the Bi-District Baseball Playoff schedule has been adjusted. Game 1 and Game 2 will now be played as a doubleheader starting at 4:30 PM on Wednesday, April 29, at Riesel Baseball Stadium. If a Game 3 is necessary, it will be played on Saturday, May 2, at 10:30 AM.
