Our Scurry-Rosser High School Band is preparing to take the stage for the UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest today. Their hard work and dedication have prepared them for this moment. Our students will showcase their hard work in both prepared concert selections and the challenging sightreading portion—where musicians perform music they’ve never seen before.

We are so proud of their commitment, discipline, and teamwork. Join us in wishing our band the very best as they represent SRISD with excellence and Wildcat Pride! #WildcatPride #UIL #ConcertAndSightreading #FineArts

Congratulations to Haley Stewart for being named Scurry-Rosser ISD’s March Transportation Employee of the Month!

Haley’s dedication to our district and its students goes above and beyond. In her own time, she comes up to clean her bus—and even helps clean other drivers’ buses—to keep our fleet in tip-top shape for the students we serve. That kind of pride and commitment does not go unnoticed. Add in her positive, caring attitude, and it’s easy to see why Haley is such a valued member of our transportation team. She truly represents the heart of Wildcat Pride!

Thank you, Haley, for all you do for SRISD! #WildcatPride #TransportationTeam #EmployeeOfTheMonth

Big things were built this year — and we’re not just talking about projects. 44 total entries for the show, 20 of those were from Scurry-Rosser FFA! All blue ribbon projects and Sweepstakes Champion.

Our Ag Mech FFA students absolutely knocked it out of the park at the Kaufman County Junior Livestock Show (KCJLS)! From the first weld to the final coat of paint, the craftsmanship, creativity, and countless hours behind each project truly paid off.

Huge shoutout to our Ag Mech students for representing FFA with excellence, and thank you to the teachers, families, and community supporters who help make these opportunities possible. For additional pictures, click here: https://tinyurl.com/48yz59w2

What a fun day of learning our Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 3rd Grade students had on Monday at the Kaufman County Junior Livestock Show! Our students had the opportunity to see livestock up close, learn about agriculture, and experience firsthand the hard work and dedication that goes into raising and showing animals.

Experiences like this help connect classroom learning to the real world — and in Kaufman County, agriculture is a big part of that story. Thank you to everyone who helped make this field trip such a great experience for our Wildcats! To see photos from the field trip, click here. https://shorturl.at/sgwoG
